In high school, Browne was an avid football player before a knee injury cut short his playing career, forcing him into coaching. However, the switch also had an unintended effect—weight gain. He soon became so unfit that in 2013, he nearly suffered a stroke due to high blood pressure.

His doctor warned him to shed the excess weight, a warning he took seriously. He then started an amazing transformation that has seen him featured in numerous fitness magazines, including the Men's Health.
